Tangipahoa Parish School Board must simply love activating the ACLU. In their latest attempt to manipulate what the public can and cannot do, in their wisdom, they have opted to push out citizens rights to public input by making it nearly impossible for the public to speak before the Board.

In a nutshell, the School Board is trying to shut out Pat Morris or the residents of Loranger who often speak in public input. In enacting such a policy change, people who would dare to disagree with the omnipotence of the School Board or Mark Kolwe would be shut out of public input. In the 48 hour requirement, approval by Mr. Kolwe or President Ann Smith must be "granted" for anyone to have the right to speak.
Who died and left Mark Kolwe or Ann Smith "god of the Board?" This is a public body owned by its citizens who pay tax dollars and live in a democratic society where their 1st Ammendment Right to speak is superceded by the policies created to shut off constituents from being a part of the public body.
The election is in October. This School Board, once again, has overstepped their boundaries.
