Two members of the Tangipahoa Parish School Boaerd have already won their seats for the upcoming October 2, 2010 election. They are Sandra Simmons and Eric Dangerfield. Both have won their election by acclamation. Congratulations to both board members.
The citizens of Tangipahoa Parish will work hard to see new faces elected to the school board in October. Heavens knows it is time for positive change to happen.
We ask that all individuals who are registered voters go to the polls and vote. Those who have not registered to vote, we ask that you do so as well, and not just do so, but vote.
If positive change is to happen, it will happen on election day in the school board races.
