Tuesday night is expected to see a huge following of Carmon Moore supporters converging on the TPSS's central office for their monthly meeting.  One of the items on the agenda being discussed is the reinstatement of Carmon Moore, that is, if the school system does not take it from the agenda, in devising a way for it not to be discussed.

In our regular monthly meeting held June 25, 2010, the GTPB NAACP voted unanimously on a resolution supporting the reinstatement of Carmon Moore, because the process the school system used was illegal and wrong.  The NAACP is an organization that fights for the rights of every citizen, regardless of race, creed, color or national origin.  While we are aware what happened to Mr. Moore has happened to many others in this school system, especially over the past few years under Kolwe's administration, Mr. Moore and one other principal is fighting the wrongs committed against them, while others decided not to "buck the system."

The inevitable will be made known, however, we believe in hindsight, those responsible for what was done to Mr. Moore by now believe this matter should have been handled differently, as opposed to using Mr. Moore as a pawn for the school administration in doing what they did to him, and what the school administration and a few board members have decided to do, using the deseg case, the NAACP and its president as the reason for their continuing to mislead and lie to the public.  The same holds true for Mrs. Marilyn Dunn, because the same thing happened to her.  While an Arbitration Hearing (a hearing by an outside firm who will decide if what was done by the system to an employee is wrong or correct) was ordered by Judge Lemelle in January 2010 for Mrs. Dunn; it has not been setup by the school system, nor the compliance officer.  The intentional erroneous errors made should be corrected.  Mr. Kolwe, and his entourage's attempt in making efforts to blame yet again the deseg case, the NAACP and its president is finally not working.  The 1975 Court Order issued by the late Judge Alvin Rubin yet stands on how the school system hires employees, principals, supervisors, et al, and that includes Mr. Moore.

We thank all who now see it was never the deseg case, NAACP, nor its president, but instead the school system and some of the school board members, i.e. Al Link who continued to tell lies to their constituients for their not complying with a nearly 50-year-old court order.  It is gratifying to know the people are finally seeing the truth for themselves.

The back door deals made with the Florida Parishes Ministerial Alliance, LLC is not working as well.  Certain federal and state rules do apply for some of the deals made, and that Mr. Kolwe orchestrated.  Those deals will be made known to the public in a few weeks.

Additionally, while Mr. Kolwe is touting he, nor the school board can reinstate Mr. Moore unless he rescinds his sabbitical, Kolwe must realize Mr. Moore was placed in a precarious position by he, Link and Bellavia in having to take a position he did not want nor ask to be transferred to, or Moore was told to take the sabbitical or be fired, the answer would be, we believe, is to have the superintendent sign an agreement that says he will not retaliate in any manner, if Mr. Moore drops the sabbitical he was forced into taking if Kolwe and the board decides to reinstate him, which we believe strongly they should do.  Otherwise, we expect to see yet another lawsuit, and money unnecessarily spent on something the stroke of Kolwe's pen can solve.  We would really like to see the billables from attorneys who are working non-stop to see Tuesday night's events not happen.

Finally, one suggestion - attorneys, tell your client to simply agree not to retailate against Mr. Moore, reinstate he and the others who yet have pending legal litigation against the school system, and let us move forward in saving money for the sake of our greatest assets, our children.
