During my last interview with Actionnews Reporter Ken Benitez about the DOJ Investigation, an error was made in my stating the taxes paid by people living East of Amite saw their taxes go to reduce Loranger's Bonding Debt.  I said Loranger, but was thinking of the Sumner School District where the tax monies collected on Highway 16 East of Amite go to the Sumner School District.  Sumner does not have a large, if any, taxbase because of homestead exemptions, yet see monies collected from this and other areas, such as the Town of Kentwood have these monies going to Sumner to reduce Sumner's debt.
