Orleans Parish Schools rank 36th in the state.  Tangipahoa's rank fell from 45th to 53rd in a single year.  Graduation percentages for Tangipahoa are also still on the decline.

There are 37 traditionally run schools and 52 Charter schools now in the New Orleans system.  New Orleans has left Tangipahoa Parish in its wake, when before Katrina, there were numerous state takeovers.  Do magnet school parents need a plan B?  Or will they put their faith in the Tangipahoa Parish School System and hope little Johnny actually get what he requires to be globally competitive?

The Tangipahoa Parish School Board is at it again.  In trying to shut down Pat Morris and Loranger residents from ever speaking in public input, they have put their feet in their mouths yet again.
